Centenary of Conversions
In September we celebrated our 100th campervan conversion leaving Thistle Rose and in the same week back in August 2016 our first van arrived which was campervan conversion number one!
Our 100th conversion will be heading back to York with owner Jan. Jan said ‘I had been considering the possibility of investing in a campervan for a number of years, the freedom and security of travel appealed as well as the convenience of having everything with you for a day-trip or an overnight stay. It will also provide a great base for family days out and my grandchildren can’t wait to sleep in the van.’
Jan first saw Thistle Rose at the Yorkshire Motorhome Show in Harrogate in March. After speaking with Peter on the phone and visiting the workshop and looking at the website she says ‘I felt very confident that Thistle Rose could provide the quality in a conversion that I was looking for. Now that I have seen the finished result, I know that I made the right choice.’
The first trip for Jan and her van will be a day trip out to Whitby and then a trip to Buxton, Derbyshire for her first overnight stay.
